KYMA means wave in Greek. Sea wave, the rippling of the river, the flow. The natural flow.
KYMA Jewelry was founded in 2018 by Iordanis Papadopoulos, designer and creator of handmade jewelry, graduate of the Stemnitsa School of Silver and Goldsmithing.
Nature, textures, movement, wind, the branches and roots of trees, plane trees, flowing rivers, power, destruction, waves, rippling, vibration, sea, horizon. These are the elements that have an impact on his work. Biomorphic shapes being moulded spontaneously and growing freely in space, like a mystical game.
We live on a beautiful planet with an abundance of life. Inspiration does not originate from something in particular, it originates from life itself, the world’s pulse producing vibrations, creating materials and shapes, and talking through us.
The jewelry is handmade and is crafted on our workshop in Greece, with personal designs. We work with love and devotion, using high quality raw materials, and employ a deep knowledge of the materials, tools, and techniques of goldsmithing.
